Haha, no idea tbh mate.
I still think a lot will drive to Leigh being what half hour away and on a thursday night people will want to get straight home. SO'C hoping for 2,000 anyway!

As is Leigh pay for 4 coaches, Widnes pay for 4 coaches. Its a split gate so everyone benefits from an increased away attendance.

No I reminded Alan Rowley at 2 o clock on sunday via text message as i was on my way to the game , I recieved a reply afterwards calling me a ' mithering b,stard ' and confirming that Mr O Connor was ' Up for it ' , I replied " You'll only need taxis now "
Believe what you want , this is the 5 th time i'V suggested this
The 1 st time was our very first TV game at the Halton stadium , and the club has also tried with Barrow , Keighley thought about it for their televised game against Batley/Dewsbury , but changed their minds at the last minute , also Fax have shown interest , but I think with the North stand being out of commission put a stop to it
If it is a success I have it on good authority it will be brought up at the next meeting of the Championship clubs as a potential idea for all TV games as an atmosphere generator , better than having a singer and some fireworks dont you think ? |
