I was in the south satnd and would say the north was 2/3s full and the east was 4/5s full what did the southlook like?

Wire, I reckon had about 1700 in the east stand as its capicity is near 2500

South stand capacity is around 3500, reckon on about 500 in there.

I was in north stand so couldn't tell, a south stander reckoned two thirds full, capacity of about 4200 that would mean about 2800.

So a total of about 5000.

2/3s of the North stand = 2787

4/5s of the east stand = 1954

I reckon about 800 in the South with gives a total of 5541.

Of course you or I could be as blind as a bat.

Fiddling attendences - That's shocking.

The anounced attendance seemed about right, The north stand had less people in it than usual by a good way. Understandable given that a lot of people dont go to friendlies. The east stand was not as packed as it seemed, had you packed the Wire fans together and filled all the emty seats in the middle you would have had a stand that was slightly over half full for me.

And the south stand looked like it always does on a day when season tickets cant be used, it looked empty.

I was slightly shocked as i thought we would have pulled in a bigger crowd, But only slightly.

South stand did look very bare, but on the positive side I noticed that every box was being used which I've never seen before.

People in the north were just spread out but very thinly, was no where near 2800 in there!

As packed as you think it may be in the North stand, it probably isn't.

maybe that was the number of spectators who paid to get in ? - the rest must have been freebies ?

I saw plenty of kids knocking about by the Bowler wall about five to three. Maybe they weren't counted.
