Indeed. We'd have that whole box ticking thing to fight over as well. Denying Leigh the chance could potentially make all the difference. Don't think they'd take leigh over Widnes right now though, if they're going to be honest and go with the best set up next time for a change Leigh are in a worse position than us.

Simple. A complete disprespect for the NRC.
Like i said on another thread we haven't shown this competition any heart apart from the match against you lot last year - and again, we lost that. I hate the NRC - mainly because the club seems to place it beneath any other priority.
A club vying for The Championship title shouldn't be losing at home to a club from a division below. The only apology i will accept from the team will be the total and utter dismantling of Leigh Centurions next week.

Now i'm confused as thought Fax's SL push was going to be based on them trying to be dominate on the field? I know not a lot of time between games but now surely only winning the league will stand Fax any chance whatsover of gaining a franchise.

Agree. We blew it big style yesterday. Whos to blame? The board for agreeing to the game, we dont know what pressure the RFL put them under if any. The coach for resting a big number of first choice players showing little respect to Hunslet in the process, or the players themselves who just didnt perform and only 4 of them came out of the game with any credit. Hunslet were superb and showed us how you should lift for a game. It would have been a disgrace if they hadnt won to be honest. |

That's a pretty strong side that should of beat Hunslet, heard Black wasn't fully fit so two games in few days fo him not the bet, nor for any! I was also ondering where Mark Roberts had got too.
Wouldn't blame board too much there are always a few mid week / weekend rearranged games in this division... usually a Sunday - Wed job though, just not ideal for Fax after a big game and on a thursday.
