Dispensation for who? Paul, Bibey? There contracts don't start until end of this season so shouldn't count! Leigh fooked up this year simple as!

When the contracts start is irrelevant, the fact is they are signed, and we cant just rip them up, even if we wanted to.

The annoying thing is, I don't think there was a deliberate attempt to hold money back and push next season. We spent what money we had to put this year's squad together, and the players we had underperformed.

Next season, the money injected by the corporate club means that we're not in a position where every penny in the club seems to be eaten up by the shambles of a stadium management company.

Aye but 'signed' with the knowledge relegation was a serious threat! So in that case miss management as well!

Leigh have completely overinvested in next season. That's their fault and their problem.

I do not see why they think they should be able to operate differently than others next season, they're the ones who have calculated the wrong outcome for next season and it is grossly unfair on the rest if they're able to vastly benefit from that.

What would they do if we signed up a load of players in 2008 and this season just asked for dispensation as... 'we thought we'd be in SL' etc etc!

My thoughts entirely. You can't assume the wrong thing and then hope the world will change for you when you get it wrong.
