No thanks, we have better players in our current squad than both of them.
We've bigger fish to fry.

Interesting as i'd be happy with Hudson as a good experienced SL hooker, however reading that board Cas fans would be happy to let go now, which isn't a good sign.
I liked McGoldrick but tbh I think it's just his effort and character as when you study him as a rugby league player you really do fail to see what he actually does?

The reason fans wouldn't be too bothered about Hudson going is we have 2 younger hookers in our team now in Adam Milner and Daryl Clark. Hudson is behind these 2 in our team and is supposedly on a high wage so wouldn't be a massive loss if he was to go now. He is a decent player still and could still do a job but he has lost pace this last year.
Mcgoldrick is a tricky one. Some love him, some hate him. I would be dissapointed to see him go if it is true as he is really our only back up for if Chase or Orr get injured. He is good at putting short balls out wide for the second rowers/centres to run off but he can't really control a game and doesnt have a kicking game. I still think he would offer you something if he did sign though.

You've got to be joking?
No half decent player will want to sign for a club which is already booked in for last position in Super League for the next 3 years.

| A player I wouldn't mind from Cas may underwhelm a few but is the sort we'll need for first years in SL... Stuart Jones. Good hard working back rower who can also cover hooker and even centre. Spot on in the defence and never gives less than 100%! We won't be able to sign 'stars' in various positions straight away simply due to availability but players like Jones would do more than a good jobeading us into the league.
On the same lines players like Aspinwall, Graeme Horne and Peter Lupton fall into a similar category!

Little Pepe went to nursery school one day wearing his Widnes hat. His teacher asked him why he was a Widnes fan. He said, “Because my parents are.” His teacher said, “That’s not good. What would you do if your parents were drug dealers and hookers?” He replied, “Well then I would be a Warrington fan.”

| Quote: -VIKINGMAN- "At the end of the day Webb would be a great signing, I can see reasons for playing him in the half's, it's essential that we get a good 7 though if that's the case.'"
What might these reasons be, VM?
As far as I can see, he's never played there, or not at any pro level for any length of time. Remember how James Ford (a centre) was unveiled as our main fullback and was going to be a star?
Do you remember what happened to Thacks (a Stand Off) when they played him at Fullback?
It seems to me, if we are going to play Brent Webb at Stand Off, we'll end up paying a massive chunk of the salary cap on yet another white elephant. I just hope that, whoever wrote the article stating that we planed to play Webb in the halves, is wrong. If we want Webb, he should should be a fullback. If we want a stand off then buy one. If we can't find one, use one of our youngsters alongside a good scrum half or put I'Anson there. We have ed up big time ing about with playing people out of position in the past few years.

I believe the bald guy Leeds had as coach previously was stating that Webb wanted a go at stand off and Cullen stated he has great hands but has never been used in that position (Boots n all) and he reckons it would suit his game more as he's very agile on his feet. I agree we need to get the correct players in playing in the right positions but IMO he might be worth a shot.
your welcome to shoot me down.
Anyways Thomas Bosc will be our new 6

Sacrebleu!!!!!!!!!!
I heard that he fancied himself as a Prop Forward, so we’ll be playing him there.
