can someone please help me ? last night at the TO v Vikings game there was a Widnes fan wearing a sombrero - does anyone know him ? and can anyone tell me if he managed to sober up ? maybe he could reply to this posting,it would be great to chat to him in a sober state ! thanks

yes,i'm a season ticket holder at TO but I am actually a 'neutral' at the matches cos' i'm actually a Saints fan (unhappy fan at the moment cos' my misus is Rhinos fan !!!)
it was a good game and quite exciting towards the end when TO came back a bit - I was sat just in front of Stuart Wilkinson in the stand and he was getting a bit worked up when TO kept on scoring ! I hope has a strong heart !
great to see all the fans after the match - it's always a great atmosphere with the english fans and of course the players from both sides mixing etc the Widnes players were great with all of them taking the trouble to sign my programme - thanks to them & Mr Wilkinson & staff

Cracking couple of days in Toulouse, beautiful place, class weather and Widnes won so what more do you want? Recommend it to anyone who hasn't been yet.

Thought we were going to struggle especially in the heat and the recent performances but the first half was the best we have played this season. Let it slip in the second half but we didn't have the ball for a good 15 minutes. When we did have it we looked dangerous, hopefully we'll keep it up for Thursday! Only downer is G. Haggerty flew out the line, missed the player and injured his knee again.

Hopefully we'll get the fixture at a similar time of year next season as it's a very enjoyable trip and worth going.

great bunch of alcoholics and well behaved just like all the winos from all the other visiting teams to Toulouse - the guy with the blue sombrero was great,until he kissed me (several times) !!! I didn't mind tho' the missus was getting a bit jealous...what a funny lot you are in Widnes...
