Flynn is good at scoring tries and can clear his line quiet well.Owens has a rugby brain but is not a winger in my opinion.

I agree,yes ,ok,he makes the occasional faux pas in defense,but then again so does half the bloomin team.I can't see this at all unless there has been another falling out with the coaching staff.

The Flynn thing does seem unlikely,e has beenn a bust unless as has been said there has been a big bust up, but Flynn doesnt seem that sort of player. You can follow the logic of releasing Davies, he has hardly played and Joseph has surprised eveyone. Same with Briscoe, dont necessarilly agree about not playing him, but we have cover and if we are not going to play him we may as well let him go. We are not that blessed with wing cover that we could just let Flynn go (unless of coursewe are bringing someone in!) I still think its unlikely though.

Surely bull and a rumour. Yes Paddy makes the odd mistake but i'd still have him in the side ahead of either of the Chuckle Brothers Isa and Ah Van.

I see Paddy scored twice for Workington in their Derby defeat at Whitehaven. Poor Briscoe looks as though he was replaced after 13 minutes! I also noticed Craven was down on the teamsheet at 9 but I wonder if he played 6?

Paddy definitely had a mixed day today for Town. He scored a try in the first few minutes, then tried to trap a ball with his foot but the ball bounced up hit his chest and they got ball and scored. Next he went in to dummy half near our line and knocked-on and they again picked the ball up and scored. Next in a simple one on one the Whitehaven winger stood him up and walked round him to score. He then scored another try in the corner.

Not one of his better days but it was only his second game for Town. Craven played at 6 and apart from the odd misplaced kick played okay and scored a try after a Haven player had dropped a high kick on his own line. Briscoe had to go off after 12 minutes and it's believed to be a cartilage problem that may require a clean out.

Another lengthy lay-off?
