| Worth looking at. I haven't seen enough of Gore but not really convinced about him.

Winning isnt everything but having the will to win is: |
|
| Quote: -VIKINGMAN- "It's not a bad shout and I agree we lack spark from the bench, I wouldn't get to despondent about the weekends result. We knew at the start of this year we would take a few beatings and Sunday was just a bad day at the office. We've proved we can mix mix and beat the best and with Allen, Cross and Cahill returning we should be a lot tougher.'"
I surely hope they return for monday as we desperately need workhorses against wakey

I think grant has been earmarked for next season even though IMO he should be getting gametime now

And the fact is the score line still read -16 despite a horror show! People said we wouldn't beg another point post Salford and we've bagged 3 since then! Also got to go there with a few bottom half sites to visit the SS too!
Always thought we'd take someone like Dwyer on mid-season and certainly one to look at. Though we also have Craven on the fringes and then Gore also as mentioned.

| Love to see him here permanently if possible. He looked impressive for the Giants at our place earlier on, and seems the right type for us and also at the right age. Go and get him Denis.

| Yes he would be a good acquisition either on loan for the rest of the season or as a permanent signing. I did hear we talked to him before he went to Hudds, but we were a bit short of funding, having stretched ourselves with the Hock deal. Maybe with the new Directors on board we might be in a better position!
Unfortunately it looks like wishful thinking by us fans, although you would think our shortcomings at 9 are realised by the Club especially if he has already been spoken to. Clarke works like a trojan, but he cant turn the clock back
Lets hope something comes of it, McShane came like a bolt our of the blue last season so why not Dwyer this! We could just do with that bit of extra zip from the PTB.

| As WirralViking commented, we may be short of funds but with Briscoe & Davies gone our wage bill ought to have dropped, unless of course we had to pay them off to go mid-season. So, maybe a short term signing to the end of the season would suit all parties?

| Totally agree we should try to get him on loan until the end of the season,he's a terrific prospect and caused us all sorts of problems when he played for the Giants a few weeks ago

| Thought Clarke looked jaded against Leeds, there was a couple of occasions when he he had the option to run from dummy half but passed instead.
Mickey Higham would be a good signing for next year.

| Be a great signing and looks like Gore won't get a chance as we lack zip at hooker.

| Reading League Weekly I noted Warrington's interest in Clark the young Cas hooker, which may or may not be likely for 2014, but the suggestion was it was likely to happen, if Warrington came up with a decent fee.
It was also suggested that Higham was close to a new deal and they may or may not keep Monaghan. To me that suggests that Dwyer could be even further down the pecking order and therefore could be available on a permanent move.
Given that Jon Clarke will be in his last season and White doesn't offer the sort of zip we need off the bench Dwyer may offer us a good option even with Gore being groomed as a future 9

Just dis-agree with your remarks re White. Too often he comes off the bench to play back row, Clarke remaining on the field. I'd like to see White have an extended run as hooker sub, with plenty of field-time in that position, think he will surprise many people as too how good he really is.

He is ok White but does not excite me as a Number 9.Too slow at ptb and not great passing and kicking game.

As I said - he hasn't had much chance so far to show his worth.....and with his longterm injury won't get another one this season.
Have faith

| Brad is highly thought of at Warrington and I very much doubt he would be allowed to leave on a permanent basis. Thus taking him on loan will only lead to Gore not progressing which he will only do with game time. However Shaun Eccles who coaches our academy side had Brad at Ince for all his amateur career, so if anyone could persuade him it would be Shaun,
