No we would not beat Wakefield with the current squad.

I think we will struggle to be competitive against Fev. We have no kicking game and can't build pressure. Our defence on the edges needs to improve drastically.

Ok with respect Rochdale are weaker opponents but we played with more control & guile & tbf kicking game is getting much better by the game considering still no out and out play kicker in the squad... Fev will miss Briggs for that also.

Yes - it's a sporting competition. It's for the fans. It's for integrity. It's for going into SL with a winning mental attitude at the club. You don't want to get pan handled for three years in SL and say "well, we didn't do much in The Championship either".
