just a thought, ive always thought he could be brilliant if he wasnt in a team as weak as the dodgy cheap booze in toppers. Luke Gale? could he be tempted from the rugby league powerhouse of quins? i would certainly investigate that is if was in charge. but then again, im not. |

I'm not surprised at that TBH  ,i think all of us are a little more touchy than usual at the moment.
No one seems to be kicking up a fuss a the club so i guess hull went through the right channels.

Not deffo but would be suprised if the club kept any of these.
I think Ellis is a replacement for washbrook next year.
Washbrook was Excellent in 2006, since then he has gone a bit backwards, to be fiar to him the club have moved him about playing standoff and hooker.
If he had a decent run at 13 at a new club he would do well IMO.
All the 3 players mentioned would do a job for you next season, you may want a better player thanPhelps on the quota though.
Another 2 players who would be good signings IMO, Jordan Turner (another year left but I feel that Hull might release him) and Fitzgibbon depending on if he decides to retire or if Hull decide they don't want him. |

Dropkick Murphy..we actually saw and heard a mass of bouncing and scarf and flag waving to Dale Cavese that drowned out anything we could muster.. It stopped us singing our own celebratory songs, it died out seconds later when we accepted we couldn't be heard over the Wigan lot
Celebrations muted from us, job done from them. Most fans who slag them off are jealous their own club's support is nowhere near that good

Would love to see Widnes sign some of the players mentioned. Brent Webb would be an awesome signing. Signing players like this would push Widnes straight into the top 8 if they can spend to the full cap. The fans will flood in with a few big name signings.

At the end of the day Webb would be a great signing, I can see reasons for playing him in the half's, it's essential that we get a good 7 though if that's the case.
