I don't think many Widnes fans will argue about Cross going off but I've heard Chase on Hardaker was a real bad one and nothing happened to Chase.....consistency?

The team warning last as long as the ref decides he wants it to ( very silly rule really,one refs discresion will be longer/shorter than anothers ) So there is no set time or number of plays.

Having just watched Super League fulltime, I'm still baffled at why Jon Clarke was binned. from the footage shown it looks like his only 'crime' is being wrestled to the floor by someone! (LMS??)

Absolute utter garbage. This was on the 60 minute mark. For 60 minutes we had been picked on by child's and targeted for penalty after penalty when st Helen's were doing the exact same as us, but worse. They held on in the tackle for so so long in the first half but nothing given

Saints were winning the ruck and were dominating the tackle, therefore the ptb was slower; it was good play from Saints. Hudds did it to us last week, they physically dominated the floor so we had a slow ptb.

Seems like nobody got punished for the fight after all. Seeing it again on Superleague Full Time and it didn't look much really. More handbags than anything. I think almost all of both teams were involved at some point!

Clarke's binning is now a complete mystery to me. It was ok while I had the team warning theory but after seeing the brawl again I can't for the life of me imagine what was in the heads of Child and his touch judges.

It wasn't good play by Saints, it was e, and you were e and could only beat us when we had 11 on the field thanks to a chicken decision by a referee out of his depth. Dominating the ruck is called holding down by most teams and they aren't usually allowed to get away with it. It's negative, boring tactics and you're going to get seriously shown up by teams like the wire and wigan and after yesterday I sincerely hope you do.

Just because I'm a mod does not mean I cannot show emotion for the team I care about. That's idiotic.

It looks like Saints fans idea of 20 yards are the same as their players and James Childs interpretation of the 10 metre rule as well

I'm personally gutted that Paul Wellens missed out on his BAFTA award. He'd earned it, he'd worked for it, and he was conned out of it by Daniel Bloody Day Bloody Lewis.

I mean, I know he's a fantastic actor, and I know he has countless people believing every performance he puts on, and I know he's been at the game for a long long time, however Day Lewis is also very very good at acting.

Winning the ruck and dominating the tackle is a rather nice way of saying spoiling tactics.

I'd call it deliberately and illegally slowing our play of the ball and then having the cheek to appeal whenever we attempted it. I think we got a lesson in the dark arts to be honest.
