Dessie has completely lost it now. What coach, in his right mind, would want to go there now. They’d have to be desperate.
Do the Barrow fans really think Brian Noble would go there. They must be even more delusional than I thought they were, if they do.
Old Dessie boy may have no option but to coach the team himself. Every pro coach, worth his salt, will probably have told him to off.

Well I feel a tad sorry for Gary Schofield OBE. I do not understand why anyone would agree to work for Des Johnson. Absolutely no justification for the things he does. He has no trust for his coaches, and the atmosphere must contribute more than anything to their failures. I didn't think Schoey was going to do much, he has been out of the game for too long and his criticisms of the modern game always come off as someone too old fashioned to really understand it, but he can't have been given much encouragement there or a chance to succeed.
Who next? One man optimistically predicts Brian Noble steering them into super league. I suspect it will be more like Des Johnson steering them into Championship 1. They are a long way from being ready for the top flight, further than ever, and until they are ran professionally, they wont ever change that. |

Hopefully whoever gets the job can get his systems in quickly and get some type of response from the players...........I am ecstatic that he has gone because if he had stayed then the playoffs were only a pipe dream, never mind winning anything !'"
I'm not denying that you may be right on Schofield but surely Dessy boy, being a recruitment magnate wouldn't have fallen for any bull$hit at an interview  . |
