Just remember to take everything the RFL says with a huge pinch of salt - I think the last 'round' of applications should have taught us that. |

Exactly my thoughts. Everyone thinks we're a shoe in, everyone thinks the criteria were somehow designed to suit us even though they are based on fundamental requirements for any successful club - crowds, finances etc and areas we are ahead in.
Everyone thinks that, yet I still wont believe we are a shoe in. I simply don't trust the RFL. |

Aye. I did laugh. For a month all we heard was how widnes were the only club allowed to run an academy, how Leigh weren't allowed to even though they wanted to and how it was corrupt and designed purely for us. All month I asked for some context, some evidence, and got none. Then Featherstone announced they were running one next year.

Glad you share the paranoia, Dalton 
Widnes are a well-run club and a model to us all (find rich owner and put structures in place) but realistically they don't fit in with the RFL's dreams of world domination so you just need to keep your heads down and go about your jobs quietly and efficiently once your up there, or risk being sent back down next time around for upsetting the apple cart. |

Oh yes great system last time to get Crusaders in but as soon as one of the treasured SL clubs is under threat it's oh what a terrible system
