Ben started off a little slowly, and was probably outshone by some of our own young forwards. However, he’s just gotten better and better and is probably now the stand-out youngster in the pack.

I’ve no doubt that the lad is destined for big things. Probably a future international.

Comparing Ben Davies to Emmett is laughable, Davies is twice the player of Emmett. As Pepe said a future international for sure.

Im sure Ben will be quaking in his boots at the prospect of facing someone who already cleans his shoes.

I suppose that's why Saints are wanting to use Unit wherever possible, whereas Davies just doesn't seem likely to make that step up for another year at least (good player all the same, mind, and agree about his potentially international quality)

I think Wigan have a few better props than saints.That is the reason not gone back to Wigan.I glad he has not gone back,otherwise he might have a great game like Farrell has done.

I must admit that I was disappointed when I first found out that we'd turned down the chance to sign Davies, but in Millward we trust and he certainly uncovered a gem in Unit.
