There was no 'crying' at all about the Gateshead situation, we were in a very fortunate position to stay up but that's it.
And, for what it's worth, it was the chief executive rather than the chairman who made the post-franchise comments.

dont mock hunslet. i think our guys took them lightly today and they bitch slapped us.
bamboozling referee aside, we were awful but they got stuck in none the less really deserved the win.
dont write them off, you may just find it comes back to bite you.
