| Welcome to the forum John.
I've not seen a bad widnes kit for a few years. We're due one. I'd ultimately like to see a home kit that incorporates the old school stripes, if only for a season. I like the new logo (about one million times more than the viking head) but I'd like to see a kit with both the town crest and the logo, and not as a pattern like this years. I've got a retro kit and the crest really does look smart. It feels like your wearing a part of history. The crest on one breast, the badge on the other maybe.

| Thanks Guys.
I would love to see the White shirt worn by the lads in 84 Challenge Cup final vs Wigan?
Now I am showing my age - Great shirt!!
Would be great if ONeills could come up with something similar!!

| Alot of people would, it's always mentioned when people mention past kits. I think it would be hard for O'Neill's to make though with it being an Adidas kit.

Whose is that Crowbar if you don't mind me asking?
Ste O'Neill used to have his up in the Appo.

| The Umbro 89 retro kit by O'Neills is brilliant. I'm not sure as many would buy that Stanley Leisure one though, due to the similarities in the design.
Been thinking about getting a shirt for a while now but I rarely wear my rugby / football tops, which is a waste really given the price.
Does the shop do the official Championship letter and number printing, out of interest?

| Yes a very nice shirt is that and it's worth framing, would be a cracker if the club could produce another retro shirt.

The club must have made a few spares for the day Vic because there's no number on it - I'd have loved it to belong to the fella in your avatar but I'm still proud to have it all the same.

Jammy Git! Wembley issue as well!
I actually have the 82 shirt without Stanley Leisure on the front with no number on the back. I took it upon myself to get God himself to sign it for me and I got mine framed too. Got a signed Eric Hughes 82 shirt as well with "6" on the back.
You might wanna keep your ear close to the ground about Mick Adams - I know he visits Widnes every now and again, if he's in town I am sure he'd sign it for you. I seen him in the Horse and Jockey about 18 months ago. I was gonna say hello but I got all starstruck!!

'God' actually lives round the corner from me, I've passed him a few times in the street and have been utterly dumbstruck lol.. The amount of times I've wanted to shout "Legend!!" as I've passed him but have never had the nerve... Maybe one day I'll get him to sign my shirt

| I remember the years when I had to go to church and once we were stood in St Raphaels and our Mike whispers to me pointing at the old man in front "That's Frank Myler!"
