Even though it hasn't been confirmed by the club yet it would seem that Grant Gore will be with the Vikings for next year at least... taken from a twitter conversation between him and Thacks this evening.





Not sure why the club haven't put anything out about this yet.

Oh and Fax are definitely looking the team to beat next year.

Seriously though hope they get that box ticked early so they can concentrate on joining us in the near future.

IIRC Grant signed a deal for a few years last season. Most of the reserve players haven't been announced either way mind you.

I remember something like that myself but then found it peculiar that
a) Grant wasn't mentioned alongside Picks and Paddy as players that already have a contract for next year in the article earlier on in the season
b) I sort of remember Gilmore signing a similar contract at the same time and was puzzled as to why he would have signed a new contract and not Grant.

Chris Atkin has signed but its not been announced either.

Atkin is a quality player, I'm looking forward to see how he progresses.

Alex Brown has also got 2 years and not been announced either.So now we have Gore,Atkin,and Brown not mentioned and how about Mullaley? I also think Alex Gerrard and Declan Hulme have alot of talent.

He's a good lad Acko. As is his 'arl fella who played RU at Birchfield and the Wids for years. Had the pleasure of playing cricket with him too and going on many a good up with him! Will be interested to see how Chris does. I'm sure my mate said they see him as a future hooker.
