Widnes Vikings set to unveil their head coach for the Super League season next Tuesday (10th May) #rugbyleague

Unless Betts is staying on for 2012, this seems really bizarre timing. Interested to hear who ut is though. If the person is to make an appearance (in person) at the press conference, then it won't be a current in-work NRL coach.

I think the timing is absolutely key. The recruitment is about to begin in the next week or so and the coach for next year should be on board to assist with that and make his mark.
If it is a good appointment then there is little doubt that this will help to drive up Stronghold memberships ahead of the May 31st deadline. |
