| The dirty ing wire are already creaming themselves. How many players have they got to get from Widnes before they start to earn a bit of history?

| Went the game today and he was pretty good, Leigh were awful particulary in the first 40.

| I don't blame them, Myler's a fantastic player and is still learning. Four tries on his debut is very impressive, albeit against Leigh, but he will make a difference to them this year.
It's only jealousy that he couldn't stay with us, but even if he did stay with us when we went into administration, he wouldn't have stayed here very long. Look at McNally at Haven, and Myler is ten times the player he is.

True...garbage first 40 but showed some good play in the 2nd half against a full strength Wire team that I think will push top 4 in SL this season...... they only won 2nd half 24-16.

953.jpg 2015 - major missed opportunity, 2016 - stronger teams = harder task (no problem there then), 2017 - OMG What now!!!:953.jpg |

Of course theres no way he would have done it against the mutants, you would have beaten Wire and their 15+ internationals.

You must be mistaking AJ for someone else, or you are just a massive idiot. He didn't even hint at how Widnes would get on against Wire.
Not one of the clubs in this division is built to get anywhere near them. We don't have the money.

Thanks Chris! My point being that you can't judge the performance of Myler and how he will perform this season for Warrington with the one performance against Championship Leigh, even though it seems like it was a very good one. If I am wrong then please let me know.

| Young Myler plays for Warrington Wolves now and hopefully he will make on the International stage in time.
I for one wish the young man the very best of luck in the greatest game.

| Wire have a huge pack and Myler will feed off it all year, reads a game and knows where the line is, Briers ran the show.

| At the end of the day if he goes on and does well it only reflects well on the town. With the amount of plaudits we have on SKy these days it should be well publicised that he is a lad from Widnes that developed his game at the club.
In time we could have a real star on the International stage that came from Widnes and how long has it been since we have been able to claim that?

| Who knows, we might see him back in a Widnes shirt 5 years or so down the line, if we find ourselves in a better position than we currently are.
Good luck to him, he'll do well at wire.

7294.jpg This is history. This is history. Right here. Right now. This is history.
I thought it was Widnes?
All games are winnable, whats hard to understand about that.
Wakefield turn over a big club every season and i see no reason why Widnes can't do the same.
:7294.jpg |

icons077e_files/5445-3661prettyflower-msnicons.jpg Parry Gordon's passes,Les Boyd's strong runs,Mike Gregory's workrate,Des Drummond's tries,Jonathan Davies' sheer genius...........oh,and Alan Rathbone's punches! All memories of the legendary venue which was Wilderspool stadium. Gone maybe,but never,ever forgotten.

To be fair my friend you have more than a few ex wires in your ranks and don't forget where your coach comes from!
