| Agree so far pretty good. Think we need some clarification on which players are defo staying with all the rumours, plus would like to see a couple of bigger name signings to boost ticket sales and give the town a buzz. I have faith in the club though as I can't see SOC/TOC/Cullen having a second rate team as any bid would need momemtum to be building....hears hoping

| I think the make-up of the team will be quite a bit better next season and we will be better equipped to handle injuries to one or two players.
Look at last year and the periods of inconsistency occurred when one or both of Morrison or Fletcher were injured or missing. I think the pack is already looking a bit better and I'm pleased that there is more focus on giving some of the junior players more of a turn as they increase their development.
I think we should look to wrap up things quickly where the are areas of uncertainty over a certain second-row / prop one way or another. It seems our position on this matter is quite clear.
Cullen has also come out and rubbished rumours that Webster is leaving in the Weekly news so that puts an end to things there.
Overall expect a more balanced squad, that Cullen has picked, with better support provided to our better players.
We will go just fine next year.

| A team does not need to be full of stars to be successful. And for me the signings that Widnes have are solid rather than spectacular. However IF Cullen can mould the individuals in to playing as a unit-something which was missing for long periods last year-then Widnes have the players to win everything. Even if Webster or Smith left I do not feel Widnes would be that much weakened. You still have the likes of Thackray, amongst others who are quality players and you could quite easily bring in other quality players if need be.
I suspect Barrow maybe weaker losing Ellis and maybe others. Fax maybe stronger but also could be vulnerable again. Much depends on Harris for Fev. Sheffield, Batley, Haven will be strong. Toulouse have got rid of 5 or so. Who comes in will be interesting. Gateshead the same. If they bring in 4 or 5 Quality NRL players then they will be tough. Dewsbury will be no mugs. Keighley will be favs to go back down but they also will be stronger than Donny were. This year was good but next year looks already to be better!

| Good signings upto yet, McGillvary if he comes in.. Hags Ford, some real potential there and were getting rid of the liabilities. Fletch and Morro will be a big loss but Cull knows what hes doing. Thacks and Webbo will be even better this year as they will have had another year working together.
THIS YEAR COULD BE ROSEY.. fingers crossed

I do hope that isnt true, we already have 5 excellent front rowers.
We need another centre and Second Row, if we get them i will be very Happy. McGillvary could probably cover both centre and Wing as he's a big lad. That then leaves us with a second row.

I'd take Nash and play him as a second row.

Bit slow though isnt he? we could possibly take Nash and put Ben Kavanagh in the second row. He would cause serious damage out wide.

| If we announce another 2 permanent, lets say Mcgillvary and Paul Johnson for instance (im not saying they will just giving some names for the minute) and then announce 3 dual contracters in Wheeler, Armstrong, Dixon from saints for instance then our squad will be excellent.
The club is in good hands and know what they're doing.

He's not lightening but has a bit of pace over 10 - 15 yards certainly enough to bring his centre into play. We would probably get more out of him running out wide rather than into the middle.
I think he had a good game against Quins not so long back in which 'he won the game'.

That was my thought.....
.......but then I thought this too!!

as VM says, the Kavanagh option may work and we should trust the club.

| I'd be happy to see Nash come back, I think he continues to show a lot of promise.
