I'll be honest... that suits me perfectly fine. It's nice to know that he's still involved with RL and not with some of our local rivals that are adverse to washing.

Swinton have majorly underachieved in the past 4 or 5 seasons, perhaps with Smithy and McCormack in charge they will now start moving upwards.

I think Isherwood has gone to Oldham, if they signed Doran they would have a cracking little squad for next year (certainly in the pack anyhow)
On a seperate note i was surprised to see Liam Higgins (ex cas) sign for Sheffield today, he'll be very good at this level. |

No disrespect to Swinton but he's far too good for Champ 1. I still don't get why we got rid of him. Coyle and Netherton aren't fit to lace his boots.

But could be cheaper, and have more long term potential to play in SL, Netherton already has. There's often alot more too it than how good they are. Doran was our player of the year but we've let him go - got to think long term and outside of the box. Something we've failed to do for a long time. |
