I doubt either Pickersgill or Haggerty will play. Certainly both won’t. Hags is the most likely of the two to get a bench spot, but I’d go with fully match-fit players. A big final on a hot day can be very draining for the pack, and those who aren’t match-fit will get found out imo.
I’d go with Gannon, Davies, Heckenberg and Houghton. The rest of the pack pick themselves.

No disrespect to the lad, I think he's a good player and one we can take up with us should we get there, but finals need experience, and if Haggerty is fit I'd play him first. You know what you're going to get from Haggy and Batley have a big, aggressive pack. I know who I'd rather be facing out of Houghton and Haggerty. |

Only change to your side for me would be Kav in the 2nd row , Heckenburg on the bench . Then a toss up betweeen Gerrards versatility and Haggys impact value.
