Just watching the game now. Got to say what a fantastic performance by Batley. I'll put my hand up and say that at the weekend I was thinking Leigh must have played a weakened team and that Leigh would make it through to the final tonight.

And to think just a few weeks ago the Leythers were on top of the world - they were almost taking the tick in the box back as a formality.

With Barrow, Featherstone and Halifax all looking dangerous, a top 2 is far from guaranteed making a GF that little bit harder. Just glad we have already got that tick in the box as after the NRC final there only one more chance for clubs like Leigh to get the imfamous tick.

As I've just said on the other board, Rhino has they really well drilled and looks to be getting the best from his players.

Fantastic defensive effort, the defending line moving up and smothering the attacking side. Nice deep line in attack giving the ball carrier options. We could learn a lot from that performance.

Well done Batley and i thought we should have got Harrison as a coach.

Batley have to go in as favourites against us. They will be a massive task. And its a credit to them that they are.

Well done Batley, superb result for them. Given the way they've demolished Leigh, there is no way I am relieved we're playing Batley instead of them.

Truer words were never spoken. Our discipline is key on Sunday. Hopefully Lee Doran has heard the recent criticism. Cut out the ball ripping and messing about and he would be a great player instead of just an infuriating one.

Thackery and Davies apart , who both have been inspiring in their efforts , Lee Doran has been our best player over the last 8-10 weeks . Davies aside , he has carried the pack , and an indication of his workrate and importance to the side is shown in the Batley debacle.
