| I think ideally we need someone other than the above, with an aussie perspective.

| I really don't mind who we get in as long as they give it a go... and by that I mean let us have a go at playing some decent rugby...
We've all seen it in games and all had a moan that late on in a game (normally when we're chasing a result) when we eventually move the ball around with a bit of pace we can open teams up wide. We have a good finisher in Gaskell and we're not lacking for pace out wide this year.
I would welcome anyone to the post as long as they were willing to have a crack at that (even if they do come from the other side of Cuerdly). Except for a short spell in 2007 we have been submitted to a lot of dross. Put things right and entertain us.

| I reckon James Webster should become Captain/Coach.
He had a great stint with Hull KR when Harvey Howard was sacked and led Hull KR to 8 straight wins and NR final apperance in his only loss before JM took over.
James is a coach in the making and was once rated by Brian Smith as the smartest playe he has ever coached. A very fair compliment!!!

| Webbo is a top bloke, as I'm sure you've either worked out or soon will, but when he took the reigns at Rovers, he'll tell you that even though he enjoyed it, he prefers just to get out and play his game without the added pressure.
That said, he is four years older now, and heading possibly towards a coaching career so the Widnes job might just be the one for him to cut his teeth on.
No matter who you get, I wish you all the best as I for one want to see Widnes back up at the top level of rugby league where they belong.

| wont mind Paul Cullen as the coach
for one he has warrington playing some good expansive rugby last year which could always attract more fans.
Althought some may argue that he couldn't do much with great players at warrington so what can he do with less talented widnes players, but still he has coached at the top level and for country and also he is a british coach which can only be good for the game

| Cullen would be a reasonable bet and is a decent enough coach, kept wire up and progressed them to a certain extent and likes to play attacking rugby. Is also a decent media man. Lives locally so no problem with that one. He's a wire but if he gives his all i dont care.

| Jon Sharp is a very good coach. he would get the max out of your players and win the N1 GF.
He is a mile ahead of people like Rhino/Kelly. Hanley has no record of long term club development. Cullen is clueless, if you spend more than anyone in N1 he may get you into the top 4/5.

| Surely Stanky should be given a chance. He did alright at Doncaster, he knows the players and the amount of times he's had to do coaching for Ste Mac whilst he stand motionless on sidelines helps his cause.
