Even dirtier if Hock signs for Widnes. Did not go the game to comment, but we seemed to struggle when our youngsters came on in the Second half.

we played well in the first half with danny craven pulling the strings, after half time the changes disrupted the flow and we never really recovered from the 2 long range tries in quick succession. hudds targetted the youngsters and forced them into errors. a near full strength huddersfield proved to be too strong for us in the end, with so many of our first team players missing.

Four top class, huge, forwards missing ( O'Donnell, Tai and Chan not available and Lawrence out after 5 minutes) would be in our best 17.

Widnes had 7 to 8 missing and you have a stronger depth of squad in quality.Gaz Hock should strengthen our squad and our youngsters are new to full time rugby league.Hopefully the dual registration will improve them.A improvement from this time last year in our team.

You had some decent backs missing. The missing forwards (bar Hock) are distinctly ordinary and that is where you will struggle. my point was that missing 4 very high quality first pick forwards is not a near full strength team.

Sure you will have a better season in 2013 and put foundations down for an even better 2014.

Difference is i also se Huddersfield as a Top 6 side, and i agree our forwards need to improve.It will take time, but we will get there eventually mate.I feel with Briscoe,Ah Van,Phelps,Brown,Hock and Pickgesgill back in the team, we will be stronger.I do not look into friendlies too much, but i am happier with the team this year than last season.
