Black and white regular hoops on the team home kit or not? I don't think for one minute that this would influence anyone nor do I want it to. Just a bit of fun.

I think the hoops ship has sailed. We've sort of conceded it to Hull FC. They're the hooped ones, we're the plain whites with black highlights. As always its hard to justify a new kit every year but you have to do it to keep up with the Jones'.

I think O Neill's have been a good supplier for us though, and one thing we can guarantee is that we wont be sharing a design with any other super league team.

Would be nice to pay homage to our original kit and have a chocolate brown and blue away kit one year.

Pretty sure it has already been said that we're not having hoops.

As to whether we should have them back, a white shirt with black shorts has become tradition, I'd like to see us return to that. I don't like the recent all white efforts.

Though I wouldn't mind a hooped jersey every now and again as Alex J mentions they have already said won't be getting one so find it hard to vote for it

Don't mind the all white personally think it can look quite smart and as Shanks would tell you a full one colour kit makes the players look bigger

I still love the hooped shirts, and I think they have been given a modern twist lately. However, the club has already stated that it will definitely not be hoops. Even when they had the chance, last season, they copped out. That shirt was utterly woeful as a result.

With that in mind, I hope they go with the next best thing and reinstate the black shorts with a white shirt with black trim. It would be great if they incorporated it with black and White hooped socks. They looked ing great on NZ in the 4N.

Bring back the hooped socks!

Just to re-iterate. I understand that there is little chance of us returning to a hooped shirt for the time being.. It's just that there seems to be so much talk about hooped tops whenever it's new kit season. Personally speaking I am much more in favour of the sort of design modelled by Alain Tait in the banner above.

When the Stronghold was launched SOC stated that Widnes will NEVER play in a hooped jersey again hence the reason why the Stronghold Members jersey is hooped.

Personaly i think that hooped jerseys look old fashioned and if not done correctly they can look cheap and nasty on modern materials (just look at Halifax's new jersey).

I voted against hoops as I wouldn't want a kit exactly like the Stronghold shirt - a variation on hoops along the ines of Leighs 2010 shirt wouldn't be a disaster IMO.

I could live with hooped socks.
