What can fans do in their spare time now that the season is over. My suggestion and particularly for older fans is to consider writing a fictional novel that is based on what you know about your family history and where the main character is a rugby league fan.
Not only have I now written six novels all set in a fictional town that is set a few miles north of Widnes in a series that starts in the 1962/63 winter. I have also written three pages of general advice aimed at encouraging others do something similar.
