Yesterdays post match scenes were deplorable BUT I want to thank those true Widnes fans who came and shook our hands and apologised for the morons. This is the true face and spirit of RL. Let's rid ourselves of the moronic few.

I can understand it (just about) from kids who are 16/17 but there's grown blokes over the age of 40 involved on the video I saw. That's just plain sad and you wonder if those types of morons will ever grow up?

We've had some issues with kids being idiots but it was sorted pretty quickly. It's unfair that the clubs name gets dragged through the mud by these dregs.

Chins up anyway and good luck in rooting out these idiots.

Sad thing is, the people who invaded the pitch probably won't see this anyway, the morons probably can't read.

Still furious at the idiots after a good sleep - set the club back massively and banned or not probably won't be at another game all season, leaving the true supporters to take the flack and mop up the mess.

The behaviour of those people yesterday left me more gutted than the result, absolute idiots.

There is (obviously) a element of our away support that drink too much and can't handle getting beat. That's the bones of it, however yesterday they took it to the next level. Hope they all get banned.

I didn't want Widnes in the final because of a healthy rivalry, now i'm just glad for the reputation of the game.

Personally i'd go for a small fine (as to not hurt signings for next year) and give you a years ban from the CC.
Hurts fans but there has to be some bitter pill to swallow.

Ive got to say after what happened at the end of yesterdays game was disgraceful and has no place in rugby league for that kind of behavour, but what is getting me is the fact they werent real widnes fans who did that and were all getting called for it. I hope they name and shame them and there banned for life.

I feel really sorry for the good fans of both clubs.
I attended with my 6 year old daughter and feel like we were cheated out of celebrating what should have been one of the highlights of following cas for the last 25+ years and in the same breath for genuine widnes fans. Every club, unfortunately, has it's morons and I can imagine how sick you must have felt to have the clubs name dragged through the mud and be associated with such idiots. Good luck in rooting out these unwanted buffoons.

Well done to the majority of true widnes fans. you were great never stopped singing and chanting during the second half, even though it looked a lost cause you still tried to lift your team. don't let the morons get you down you made the semis and looks like you will be in the play offs onwards and upwards.

For me, the worst aspect of the whole thing was that a couple of blokes took their kids on the pitch with them.

Said before the game whoever wins this one I hope they win the big one and I'll say it now, I hope you go all the way. You didn't deserve that, but don't let it bring what should be an extremely joyful time down.
