Come and meet Jim Mills at the Club Museum This Saturday (30th November) will see Widnes legend Jim Mills taking part in an exclusive signing session at the Widnes Rugby League Museum from 11am onwards.
Should you not already have one, a limited number of copies of the newly-released biography will be on sale at the museum, to buy and get personalised by a true legend of the sport, priced at £14.99.
Rugby League supporters of all ages will enjoy reading this insight into Jim Mills' career across both codes of Rugby and his life away from the sport, whether it be his physical approach to the game, the numerous achievements he collated throughout his career, or the controversies that saw him sent off 17 times.
Why not pay a visit to the Widnes Rugby League Museum which is open for business as usual, meet the man himself and have a look at some of the most historic artefacts in the Club's history.
Museum Curator Deb Townsend will be on hand to answer any questions about the wide range of Widnes history within the walls of the museum.

Big Jim- Jim Mills- A Rugby Giant: Written by Peter Lush and Maurice Bamford and published by London League Publications Ltd this latest addition to the library of Widnes rugby league books tells the story of how the giant prop forward became a true giant of the game having left his ‘union’ roots in South Wales to forge a successful career in rugby league in both hemispheres.
This authorised biography not only covers the Great Britain and Welsh International’s career with ‘Cup Kings’ Widnes but also takes in Mills’ contributions at Halifax, Salford, Bradford, Workington and North Sydney, and his days with the Cardiff rugby union club, and as a nightclub owner in Widnes. The book includes a foreword by Doug Laughton, and contributions from former referee Billy Thompson and people who played with and against Jim. Published in September 2013 at £14.95. Hardback 192 pages.
Widnes Rugby League museum is located under the East Stand and is accesible via Naughton Road with parking available to the rear off the stand.
