[b:qyjyc4ur]“This is the stuff of dreams for Widnes!” [/b:qyjyc4ur]:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_61443.jpg

The Super League show tonight will make good watching (BBC2 0315-0400). Widnes really did put in a great performance and can hopefully press on with a win at London on Saturday. Pleased with Ah Van getting a try and kicking 5, Ben Cross' first try, and the never say die attitude right to the end by the team rewarded with last try and the win. Hoping that it wasn't a flash in the pan and all the hard work we hear about being done in training is starting to pay off. Castleford only 2 points ahead of us if they don't get anything against Bradford. Feels great to be off the bottom of the table!

Well it's been a couple of days now and I've got to say that I still feel fantastic about the game at the weekend. For me it was the best game of the year this far. Wigan was great but this was a complete performance with some smart attacking play, some committed defence and the fact that we looked in charge for most of the game.

I genuinely hope we can back up this performance with a decent outing down in London.

Fully agree mate. Great to finally see an 80-minute performance from us, especially against one of the top sides.

Hopefully we can go on to London, get our first away win and put some daylight between us and them at the bottom.

Here's a bit of thinking from me:

London next five fixtures: Widnes h) , Hudds a), Leeds h), Bradford a), Wigan h)

Widnes next five fixtures: London a) , Wigan a) , Cas h), Saints h), Salford a)

Now, I think we'll beat London this weekend, lose at Wigan and beat Cas at the Stobart. I think the Saints game will be similar to the Catalan game at home and will come down to 50/50 decisions. Salford have always been a bogey side to us in SL and we'll have change that to if we want to win. Confidence goes a long way in any sport and I think if we can at least beat London and Cas, we'll go on and beat Salford.

If London do lose to us they will IMO also lose at Hudds. The Leeds game I can't pick because in previous fixtures, they have done well against them. A win here could see them beat Bradford as well but I don't think either us or London will get anywhere near Wigan.

Predictions for next 5- London: LLWWL
Predicitons for next 5- Widnes: WLWLW

These are just predictions though and as we all know, this sport is pretty much unpredictable at the best of times so make of them what you wish.

I can see London maybe picking up 1 win from the 5 games and us 2 (London and Cas).

Predictions for next 5: London - LLLWL
Predictions for next 5: Widnes - WLWLL

But I wouldn't put money on it!
