I'd say im happier with betts than i have been with any other coach we've had since super league.
Noble was given a blank chequebook at wigan and told to ignore the salary cap , if that was widnes the r.l would probably kick us out , i think the game has changed a lot even in the 10 or so years since nobby was good at bradford. If it was say Graham murray or a top aussie coach in the pipeline i'd say go for it but Nobby et al , no thanks stick with betts for now. I believe he will get the basics better covered in a couple of months , and he has signed better players than ive seen at widnes for a good few years.
ask the squad who theyd prefair bet 90% would say nobby and possibly others would prefair betts cause they know they wouldnt be there if nobby was there any way
