I see your point, the squad is weak... however you dont think the results would be even slightly better with say, Wayne Bennett in charge? or any world class coach. Not saying you be in the GF but youd have a much better chance of being competitive

Widnes were busy in the transfer market and have many new faces, that'll take time.

All im saying is theres a reason clubs try to sign top class coaches, and Betts certainly isnt one. It will take time but a poor squad with an inexperienced coach doesnt look promising, with an experienced relatively successful man in charge theyd have a better chance
