I thought our defence was very good today against the World Champions but its so frustrating that basic stuff cannot be done and we just cannot work though simple things as a team.

1) 5th tackle 20 yrds out we should be doing simple little grubber kicks through and if it does not work out we can apply pressure automatically holding them within there 20.

2) We get too excited when we get pens and lose the ball after 2 tackles ( This was very frustrating for me today )

3) Gaps were there today for a short ball but we seem to have no hard running forwards to dink it to.

4) I could go on but my teas ready and I`m not falling into the trap another season getting worked up about it !!!

Same old same old year in year out !!!!

We murdered you around the ruck and caught you out wide on a number of occasions whilst we also butchered at least 4 tries.
I thought with the ball you kept coming and got some momentum but like you said finished plenty of sets very poorly.
I thought Flynn ,Mullally and Ah ,Van went ok going forward and Winterstein put a couple of strong runs in but defensively you'll continue to concede loads without better structure and individual improvements.
The spirit within your team is still good that was shown many times today and i wouldn't say you gave up plus with injuries to key players and some yet to play you could get 1 or 2 wins and i don't mean that to be patronising i don't see how your current coach can get any more out of what's available.
