What does everybody think of our half back partnership so far? Personally, I think Lloyd White needs time to develop. I would like to see his kicking game improve. As for Hanbury I think he is a little too greedy at times, but is that a bad thing? I think given time we could have a decent paring in White and Hanbury.

I think it would be better to develop Lloyd White as a Hooker. That’s where he looks best,imo. I’d put him on the bench and interchange him with Scott Moore.

Hanbury has shown that he can be classy, and has a great step at speed, but defensively awful at times.

Neither has a kicking game, and that’s exactly what we need, as we have to soak up far too much pressure. A good kicking game is essential for a struggling side.

At the moment though, injuries are dictating selections and limiting our options.

White as interchange hooker with moore (assuming he stops getting his kicked by team mates) Briscoe at full back with jack owens as cover with an eye to being first choice fullback for many years to come in future. Craven moves into the halves with hanbury. Phelps at centre so willie isa can get some defensive practice in the U20's (as already mentioned). lets not forget, Kite can be a pretty straight replacement for Kav also.

A half back that has a variation on the high bomb every time we get in the final third. Doesn't help that we put no pressure on the opposition full back mind.

White has gone so far backwards from his form last season its unreal. I think Hanbury will come good.

I agree that White did improve in the second half on Sunday when he started getting the ball out to Paddy. I think that he and Moore should interchange at hooker with Craven slotting in at his preferred potion of stand-off.
