just got back from the sportsmans evening, how sad was it to see Andy Gregory? very drunk tonight. was a shame to see a waste after such a talent. bad form of paddy flynn to mock him with his mates by pulling faces, if he was half the talent then he would have the right. Phil mckenzie was the ultimate professional great guy and very approachable. had a great night just has to point out the sad way which Andy gregory had turned out. looks like he needs help

Unfortunately Gregs been this way for some time now - he does need help but he has to see it that way himself first.

As you say though, poor form from Paddy for mocking him.

Phil McK has always been a great bloke. He did some physio on me after a knee problem and he used to love chatting about the club and 'the good old days'. He's still got a lot of time for the club.

I think having Andy Greg put few off tbh, He is too predictable and you`ve heard his stories before. At a club sportsmans last year he was guest speaker and they had to fish him out of the pub next door to tell him he was about to go on. Real shame.

I remember years back standing right behind Phil McKenzie when we were against Saints. I thought, this guys a legend, and he's stood watching with the rest of us. I felt honoured to be honest, he was in "the" team.

League players don't get enough credit for what they do. Footballers get high profile media jobs, our lot end up working as physio's.

Maybe you shouldn't be too hard on Paddy - Phil Mac was staring at his boots when Andy just couldn't get the words out, I should think Paddy was just like the rest of us - mortified and squirming.
