Quote: littlerich "The biggest name in the 1988 winter olympics. A film is about to be made about him starring a main Harry Potter actor. He earned £10,000 an hour for various adverts (yes, he did eventually lose it all). His name is more recognised in Britain than ANY Rugby League player.
So there you go. Enthusiasm and crapness. It does happen. It got him somewhere.'"
It got him nowhere, he came into the Olympics a supposed sportsman and he left a laughing stock. So basically it got him a film made about him for being so crap, so he earned a few grand for adverts about him because he was crap and people know his name because he was crap not for achieving anything. So what if more people know his name than any rugby league player, it doesn't mean he's achived more. He was a supposed Olympic athlete - he acheived nothing in his sport - he didn't, imo, achieve anything.
