right this is how it goes.it doesnt matter what facts and figures are thrown about by each club,the rfl have already picked who is going up and who is coming down.i for one think the franchise system is a load of crap and should be scrapped.just wish march would hurry up and stop all this bull.

Honestly, who cares about the crowd figure in the licensing stakes ?

We should be more concerned about the fact that Halifax have spent the last two years posting crowds below 2,500 and now for some bizarre reason decide to use their last game of the season and probably a fair bit of marketing to edge them over an RFL dreamt up crowd figure.

A bit more of a sustaoined and concerted effort on the marketing front in line with what they have used for yesterdays game and they would have obliterated our average and then maybe could have crowed about being the biggest club in this league.

It's a great crowd for this level but im a little worried at what seems like their eagerness to achieve this RFL magical crowd figure when other areas of their club from the outside seem neglected.

but that average is only being hit by certain super league teams because of the away fans turning up in bigger numbers, some of them would struggle to reach 2,500 average if they were in the championship

Varies from club to club but they're perfectly entitled to announce 'tickets sold' (as do a lot of clubs in both RL and football), even if those 'tickets sold' are of no value.
