I said as much when Vikingman posted up the squad list on here at the beginning of the season. Obviously I was roundly set upon when I pointed out this fact. Don't worry though, I'll be back on here in January to assess next years squad. Read it carefully next time

At the end of the day nobody was hurt and all the players seemed to be shaking hands at the end of the game including Sam Barlow just like it should and always his been in RL.

I personally dont think there's an awful lot between the top teams in the division and I include ourselves in that. We havent been completely walloped by anyone in this league, I'd say the Batley home game was the worst performance of the season. You cant go out every week and make 6 or 7 changes to your team and expect to have any cohesion in your set plays and defence. I'm not making any excuses but the fact of the matter is we have had horrendous injury problems all season, Think we have used nearly 40 players this season, maybe more. Cullens been in and out which hasnt helped either. The big plus though is that we have brought in quite a few youngsters and each and every one of them hasnt looked out of place in the 1st team. Craven, Lunt, Kelly,Hulme all look to have massive futures if they continue to develop. Last night I thought the senior players let us down by giving away too many penalties.

Not sure where she's from, but you could be right, she had a wigan twang to her voice, and what a voice it was. I feel really sorry for Deano having to put up with it. She swore continually throughout the game and her mate had a kid with her, what sort of a role model will she be????

But I do concede she is probably not a widnes lass. We were sat next to some widnes fans who were really nice people, so I shouldnt tar everyone with the same brush

That is a big statement Rich and I think you will be way off the mark.
I thought Craven looked one of the best players on the pitch last night despite playing out of position. His tackle on Frank Whatshername was amazing. A star for the future. Out of the others Flynn will be with us in SL and I think Grady [imight[/i too. Not sure about Houghton. Not one of his better displays last night but he's done enough in the past for me to think he will be a good squad player and who knows if he keeps improving.
There are a set of lads currently in the 18's now that are set to be given first team numbers next year and we have some very very exciting prospects in there.

Next year they will be another year older and another year wiser.
I'm not saying that we will be a team completely dominated by players from these sides but the ball is rolling.
