I'd start with Gerrard at hooker and spell Hulme.

I think we should be looking at bringing in a loan to cover Coyle/Smith, anyone decent at SL not getting in their team.

Do you think there would be any mileage in looking at the training methods? Maybe they're not doing it properly? Having all this fancy equipment and facilities is no substitution for running up and down a good old fashioned hill in Oldham.

Huddersfield have got Lunt/Robinson/Faiumu/Drew who are all now competing for at most 2 spots at hooker. Faiumu would be worth looking at surely? Might not be needed now brough has shoved robinson into playing at hooker?

Faiumu is playing in the back row. Drew isn't playing however. Worth asking, if he's eligible to come here. AFAIK, Clarke has been injured. Not sure if he's fit again now, but the general consensus from the Wires if that he's fallen out of favour anyway.

I'd prefer to throw Hulme in at the deep end.
