A couple of months ago someone asked if i could get Martin Offiah to attend a book signing in the museum. After speaking to his publistist i have been asked to indicate the number of people who would be interested in attending a book signing by Martin in Widnes

If I were his publicist, I'd be a bit worried about Martin's later books.

It's quite likely he'll get a better offer from another publicist, feign writers block, and then sign for the other publicist for a fee payable at £10 per week for the next 10 years.

Just a thought.

Having said that, I'd turn up as I expect would a lot of other 40+ year old fans who perhaps time has healed old wounds.

Just my opnion and a couple of true facts.
Martin Offiah has taken a LOT out of our game and given not a lot back.- Like a lot.
A number of years ago after the charity shield game at Anfield the same Mr Offiah was in a service station on the M62 with a certain Mr Handley and when my daughter politely asked them for their autographs she was told "They were busy"
Every time Mr Offiah appears on Sky he only talks about the players who he has in his agency.
Over to the true Widnes fans.......What has that man given to our game?

I'd sooner die than have a book signed by him.
