About time the french put money into their own game.Why we funding the french?We need to help our own teams before the heartlands die.If widnes went i never support any other team so rfl need to think better.It a northern sport rugby league.Any expansion should be done gradual not miles away from m62 corridor.  |

Right at the end of the interview the question was asked that if a club was coming up would one be coming out of SL and the 1st word out of Lewis' mouth was "yes". To be honest though, I think we was responding to the original question which was should SL clubs be concerned about losing their licence. I think we can read into it that the most likely outcome will be that SL club will lose their place, but obviously they are not going to say that publically until nearer the time. I think SO'C said it would be spring next year when the decsion would be made, so a) gives that club almost a full year to plan for SL, b) makes that Championship clubs season a bit pointless but maybe more significantly c) what about the SL club coming down? They'll effectively be relegated with about 2/3's of the season still to go. |

I do not care either as nobody gived a stuff about widnes not getting a franchise.Salford had worst attendances than widnes and crap stadium but jumped above us.Celtic could not last more than a year in south wales.All a joke. |

Anyone who claims Widnes should not be the next team in super league needs some help or some form of teaching on what makes a good RL club.
Widnes fans on here, you know who gets my vote anyway.
It was a big enough cock up that they were not put in last time around.

you won it once, theres 2 more years,
also you talk about your on the pitch form and your success, this franchise is about on and off the feils, right now there are at least 4 other teams in this league with better grounds than you.
there are a couple with a better fan base than you.
you might think what ever you want but the ONLY and i mean ONLY reason you will get into super league is because of EXPANSION.
Celtic Crusaders wernt ready but got fast tracked in cause they were an expansion club |
