All these players even with an alleged reduction of the salary cap to £300K.

sounds like it would be a nice franchise spot for toulouse in 2 years then. RFL will be happ with another French team after all that is probably what they were put in our league for to give them chace to settle before being put in super league. |

Lol what sort of club are Widness if their fans think its good news Salford don't get the stadium? Relaying on a team not to get a stadium as the only way for you to get in Super League, why should you go in atall. |

It's not good news for any club that's not getting a new stadium that has been promised one but at the same time I couldn't give a toss what Salford or any other club are doing apart from Widnes.

You relied on one to get in, and never produced it. Stands to reason we would be relying on the same teams not to get one to get in too. We are going to have to outdo existing SL teams, and we certainly outdo you lot especially without the stadium. |

Not necessarily. The contractor just builds. The designer is the one who designs the foundations and will know more about the conditions of the site. In fact, I'm surprised as the source has spoken to one of the subbies who are doing the groundworks as I would have thought the main contractor wasn't even appointed yet!

Sorry to disappoint you Gauge but your informant working on site is not the person to speak to.
You really need a line to the MD of Peel Holdings PLC. He is the man who matters and he has conveyed to Mr Wilkinson that the Stadium will be built on time. It is a clause in Peels agreement with Salford Council that the Stadium is completed before the Barton Docks scheme (also for Peel) goes ahead.
Very sad to see so much bitterness with Salford. Unnecessary. If its all to do with the Franchises then there will be room enough for both clubs next time.'"

1st was 2011 then Wilko came out with... 'are plans are on track for 2012' erm no...
Plus obviously Widnes will rely on other teams not getting stadiums etc... FACT! If all SL sides had teams full of Brit's all finishing in playoffs next few years in brand spanking new stadiums 10k attenadances and 4mil turnovers. we'd be fooked! sO WHAT DO YOU EXPECT EXACTLY?
