take away the anger of the lastweeks result and this seasons form so far who do you think the club keep from the current squad.for me personaly on this seasons form so far i would keep Kavanagha,flynn,tyrer,finnigan,allen,haggerty junior,varkulis,thackery....kavanagha and flynn not sl experiance but will be good enough tyrer and finnigan have good sl experiance and will be good squad players due to being able to cover many posistions allen and haggerty good grafters and will work hard varkulis has made a big step up to the front row and his doing well and thackery can do well with a good scrum half i have left all the young and widnes born lads out there because they are a shoe in surely.Good times ahead with good investment

They'd be squad players at the very best. I've no doubt whatsoever that the contacts of Terry O'Connor, Betts, Cassidy etc will be working hard to get a good squad of Super League standard. Although there might be a slight Wigan bias in the Widnes team next season having re-read those names!

Having watched your team here at Leigh last Sunday I would have P45's prepared for all your squad and be issuing them now. You might as well play your under 19's and save some cash for next season.
As for Hunslet being a good team: only when compared to yourselves.
On a brighter note I hope you do well next season but think that you may be the whipping boys for the first two years until some decent SL players come out of contract.

No doubt we are going to need at least 10 new players but so would any team in our league going to SL.

I think we'll keep more than people believe, main reason being availability mainly. 7-10 coming in some NRL players and some SL experienced pro's to help those that are moving up and into the full time enviroment.

Our 1st team squad has 36 players you can not judge them all on the 80 minutes you have seen of widnes this year

I would say these and add Kavanagh and Allen if improves, plus some more youngsters like Mullaley,Alex Brown,Gore,Gilmore,Jack Owens etc.I think I,Anson will get better once played a few more games.
