All the more reason to only sign for the long term

Staveley released from Cas, maybe we got this one right. I was against him going  but shows the club often know things that goes on behind the scenes.

Pathetic from Cas, they've released him for being injured but he was injured when they took him on.


Feels like he's been badly advised, would've been better off sticking here until he was at least fit

Was a strange move by Cas to sign a player that is still undergoing rehab on a serious long term injury, before seeing if he was fully recovered to then release him even before giving him the chance to prove himself fit, unless there are more issues re his injury. Maybe the rumours of him going to the dark side to join up with Riding had legs.

His dad said he didn't want to leave, so sounded like Hulls decision.


Still think the decision must of been based on his injury or attitude (or both)

It's a bit of a strange one that he's taking so long to recover? 

Not usually as long as recovery from this type of injury. 

Knowing who advised him its a distinct possibility. Cas knew exactly what they were getting and at what level of fitness, poor stuff all round for me! We certainly made the right decision to let him go no question!
