Not wanting to appear a tw@ but £9.70 is not divisible by 3. I appreciate this might come across as aloof, but perhaps what you were charged to start with was a mistake?

He might have bought 3 different drinks,ie lager,cider and bitter.

I believe they have to have a price list on view and have to notify you of any price change. I don't believe they can legally do that.

I was told before the game that prices are cheaper for drinks served before 7pm then after that time it goesa up. This came from a member of the bar staff

are they allowed to price list beers at the higher (normal) price and reduce it for a few hours before the game to get folk in - kind of a promo offer? maybe this is what they are doing

Talking about the Dugout,when they going to get a mike that works when they talk to a player pre match, and where has the Doyle disappeared to?

As long as the advertised price is the higher one, they they are doing nothing wrong by charging less earlier in the evening.

Apparently there's a deal on carling and Worthington £3 a pint pre match, £3.50 afterwards.
