whats the parking like around the galpharm stadium? going for the first time tomorrow in car

Get there early enough and you can park at the stadium. Always gone there, but there'll be plenty of spaces elsewhere

It costs a fiver and is a nightmare to get out of! On the opposite side of saint Andrews road from where you turn into the stadium carpark is a pay and display carpark -it's free on bank holidays!

I don't think you really need to worry about security to be honest - it's a bit bumpy as it's just open land but decent enough and I can't ever recall any 'security' problems - the university use it daily for staff parking (obviously not on bank holidays though) - I'm sure you'll be fine and it's 5-10 minutes flat, straight walking to the ground..

Turn left out of the ground and head for the M62 west, its one junction further on from where we go into Huddersfield but its a half hour quicker getting home. My mate and I did it a year a few years back and we were over the Ouse bridge before our other mate had got past Cooper bridge garage near the motorway.
