Just read in Fitz column that Manu qualifies to play for England, and Fitz reckons he should be considered for the 4 Nations....Got to say I agree.

The Aussies regularly play Tongans, Samoans, Kiwis, Lebanese and anyone else they think will improve their side. The current football World Cup is full of players born in one country but playing for another. Half the English cricket team is South African, isn't it? If everyone else is doing it, we should at least consider those who are good enough rather than put ourselves at a disadvantage.

We have enough english backrowers already better than Manu, It's not required and it's not the way to go especially since it's not even on paternal grounds

He's not English, he's Tongan and has represented Tonga a few times.

I don't agree with swapping Nations, and just because people in other sports/countries do it, doesn't mean we should.

I agree, just because he's eligible doesn't mean he should. Leave this nonsense to other sports IMO.

I'd say that was a pretty big difference!!

I don't think he should be able to swap anyway and luckily I can't see him getting in the English side. Playing for a different nation to your own is bad enough but swapping nations is even worse. I think Manu's a quality player but I'd be dissappointed to see him in an England shirt.
