| The club are in the process of rebuilding the squad for next year and the rumours are that certain 1st team players are just not putting it in. That certainly seems the case come game time.
When you think thats all that won us those 1st five games really, hard work & commitment.
I like any other fan want us to win games & push for trophies now, but lets be honest there is something lacking or wrong within that group of players and I think it could take us a while to address that.
The coaching staff and Mr Rule know who they are gonna give the boot, so for me I would rather they dropped em now, ( how many chances do they want?) come out with a statement that for the long term good of the club 1st team places are to be given to some of the fringe players who want to play for HUll FC. This would give us a chance to assess their progress and help the coaches with their recruitment plans.
Thats what the franchise system is there for and just look how much better some of the young Cas lads are for it.
Again I will stress that I dont want to wright another season off but I am sick of watching players with no respect for our club, the badge or the fans!

| Well said Homer hfc i agree that Agar should leave out some of the first team for the fringe players cos as you say some of the first teamers just do not show any passion for the black and white shirt at all, this has gone on for to long now and as you say they have had chance after chance.
Now is the time for Agar to put his stamp on the team and drop them and most of us fans will back his decision to do it as we want to see players showing pride inthe shirt. Lets see what some of these youngsters can do if it does not work out we have not lost anything we could just gain a few things from it.

surely any player at the club should be capable of the step up to super league, isn't that the whole point of having them in the first place

[quote="Wellsy13":1juz9zgo]To us REAL fans, there's no better feeling than winning competitions. Getting to a final is next. Then a top 6 finish or semi-final appearance. Then I suppose the derby counts as the most important league fixture.
Us real fans don't look over our shoulder at our neighbours and do whatever we can to get one over on them. We look at the bigger picture. And this is the reason why Rovers are and will forever be considered a small club. Because their fans and board would rather get one over on Hull FC above anything else.
Quite sad, really! [/quote:1juz9zgo]
SPOT ON!
A Hull KR fan about Billy Slater:

No, you can't expect players from our 21's to be ready to make the step up from the moment they sign! They are here as youth for the management to develop them into Super League players, a lot of them never make it in SL nevermind while they're still young. Our U21 team is very young anyway.

If two or three players actually make it through from the reserves to Super League per season a club has done well.
