Ok, I'll try again and see if you can manage a responsible debate, what do you think would happen if Pearson had enough of putting money into the club?

He’s not Tony Soprano, whose money do you think it is, “think” being the major word.

You and your 'barometer' were going to hit the jackpot sooner or later.
Well done Tarq's.
Rugby League on Sky Saturday morning.

I seem to remember a few interviews with AP over the years and this question has been asked. The answer was always it’s his money and his club 100% no consortium or silent backers.
To be fair I can’t say I have ever had the impression he was or has ever been anything other than the clubs owner outright.

| How well Ian Watson does at Huddersfield is going to be very interesting, yes they've had some excellent signings but it's still a club that hasn't had its nose in the pointy end of things regularly. With his own team next to him I think the chances of them doing very well this year is significant but like ourselves and others, speculation and what happens on the training ground is meaningless unless results actually are the proof of the pudding.
Inglis is an interesting one, massive name, absolutely immense, but he himself stated on his retirement that he packed in because he couldn't have that presence that he once had, he stated it wasn't mental or physical but just the right time to quit. But knee and shoulder injuries that limited him to just the two games in 2019 casts a doubt as to whether he can stay fit and healthy for the majority of the season. Given the money Warrington are undoubtedly coughing up I think it's a bit of a gamble, from a purely rugby POV I hope it doesn't pay off as he could have a massive influence on how Warrington go throughout the season and ultimately when chasing silverware which means it's much harder for us.
Evalds is top signing for Cas, I don't think there are many teams who given the chance wouldn't sign him and will do well in Powell's style of rugby. Can Cas be a force this season, not sure, as per my prediction I think they'll be 6/7/8.

He did say in no particular order but the fact he still put him first on the list suggests that that was a bit pony, why not Watson who potentially has the greatest impact of all regards how a team does, that he put him last on the list backs up that he indeed did put them in some sort of order.

So, to be clear, what exactly is it you can't grasp about 'not in any particular order of significance?'
You are the son of David Icke, and I claim my £5.

In his defence though, when people say things like that before making a list, it often actually is in order. They just don't want to stick their neck out too much so they say, "no particular order."
Inglis could go either way. If he still has half the talent he had in his prime he will go well. Or he could be another expensive flop. Time will tell.

| Leeds losing a couple of key players and moving fast to sign Eastmond, potentially a very good signing for them and maybe us.
I thought Leeds were the biggest threat to signing Connor from us, that's unlikely to happen now. I cant see any other Yorkshire team going after him. Hopefully we will announce a new contract soon.

I agree in regards to Inglis in that it could be potentially a pay off and be a great signing though could also go the other way. Had he come straight from playing then there would would be a higher probability of it paying off. The fact he hasn't played for nearly 2 years even for a player of Ingliss' prior quality will take a lot to get back to where he was before.
Another one is Ian Watson as now with all the signings he's made the pressure will be on him to get Huddersfield firing, had he come in without the number of signings he's made it would have afforded him more time. I think with the failure of both Stone and then Woolford to achieve success then that in itself adds some degree of pressure. At Salford Watson didnt appear to be under much pressure due to the expectations, had he come to Hull he would have been an under pressure to get the team challenging and see him having the similar pressures at Huddersfield with the squad he's put together, though pressure form the aspect of fans will be less at Huddersfield.
All in all I think it will certainly be an interesting season.
