Dual contract mate, the way the league will be set up next year allows a couple of your players to be dual registered so that they play NL1 instead of 21s. Good idea i think rather than farcical.

As someone not in the know, how is this arrangement going to work?. Is he training full time with us & playing part time with both Fev. & us?.

And if he gets injured playing for them, do they pay us his wages?

Either he is a SL Squad member, or he isn't.

Its a week by week loan deal effectively. We get the benefits of him playing competitively every week, why should we not pick up the wages if he gets injured. There's always risk associated with everything i guess.

I understand that he will train with us during the week and then on approx Thurs we will tell him whether he can play for Fev at the weekend or not. He will then go train with then Fri/Sat before a Sunday game and then will return to us on the Monday for training.

Its simply a way to ensure that players get better competetive action than the 21s.

He will train with you and play for Fev when not required for first team duties at Hull. He can only play for one team a week though so cant play for instance a thursday night sky game for Fev then play for you on sunday. Or Vica versa.

Then we should be looking at strengthening the 21s.

Agree, but thats not going to happen without better quality kids coming through and actually once someone gets past 21 i dont think they should be playing 21s. We've lacked an option since reserve teams went for me.
